KARACHI: Police rescue three hostages and kill three kidnappers

KARACHI: Special Investigation Police in Karachi conducted an operation to rescue three hostages and also killed three kidnappers in the process, ARY News reported.

According to details, the SI police and CPLC conducted a joint raid to rescue three hostages in the city’s Ibrahim Haidery area. When the SIU police reached Chashma Goth area in Ibrahim Haidery, the kidnappers opened fire.

Police successfully recovered the hostages Farhan, who is a cement factory owner and his wife Riffat as well as his daughter. The family was kidnapped from Karachi’s Defence area three days ago and demanded a sum of Rs. 2.5 crore for their release.

On the other hand, Pakistan Bazaar police arrested four accomplices belonging to a motorcycle lifting gang from the West Zone. One accomplice evaded arrest by escaping. According to the police, the alleged suspects were involved stealing motorbikes and street crimes that took place in the city.
