Karachi: Rangers arrest five suspects in raid

KARACHI: Paramilitary Rangers nabbed five suspected persons during a targeted operation in Karachi, ARY News reported.

According to details, the para-military force carried out a targeted operation by sealing entry and exit points of Musa Colony in Federal B. Area. Five suspects were taken into custody and were shifted to unknown location for investigation.

Sources said that two persons, affiliated with an outlawed organization, were among the five arrested suspects.

Unknown gunmen opened fire at a couple, travelling in a rickshaw at Gulshan-e-Maymar, after they failed to rob them.

The robbers opened fire at couple- Zubair and Naseema- when the driver didn’t stop the rickshaw after the criminals signaled him to stop the three-wheeler for robbery.
