As soon the prime minister’s address to the nation was over last night, the operation of Rangers across Karachi and other parts of the country saw intensification.
Rangers personnel launched a targeted operation in Surjani Town neighbourhood where hiding terrorists opened fire on the law enforcers. In retaliation fire by the Rangers, three terrorists were killed. One personnel was also injured in the encounter.
In a similar action at Janjal Goth, Super Highway, Rangers killed four terrorists. Heavy cache of weapons was recovered from the criminals.
According to Rangers spokesperson, all the slain terrorists belonged to a banned terror outfit.
