Ambreen, a resident of Surjani Town Sector-7, her sister and her three-year old daughter Dua hired a rickshaw for going home after visiting the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi in Clifton.
The rickshaw driver, after reaching Federal B. Area Block-19, asked the two women to step out of the vehicle with the pretext that the rickshaw has developed a fault.
Just as the two women stepped out of the rickshaw, the driver tried to snatch money from the two women. However, when the women raised hue and cry for help, the rickshaw driver escaped with the three-year old girl in the vehicle.
Police has conducted raids in North Nazimabad, Nusrat Bhutto Colony, New Karachi, Bilal Colony and other areas in the trail of the accused for recovery of the girl but not yet succeed.
