Karachi violence claims five lives

KARACHI: Firing and other violent incidents on Thursday took lives of five people in Karachi, three of them in Lyari causing panic and tension in the neighborhood, ARY News reported.

According to details, unknown gunmen resorted to firing near a clinic adjacent to Jumma Hall killing three people. The dead were identified as Inayat Bakhsh Baloch, Muhammad Hanif, Muhammad Ejaz. A man named Abdul Shakoor was injured in the incident.
Among the dead, Inayat Bakhsh Baloch was said to be an activist of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). The area is still tense after the incident.

On the other hand, a woman lost her life in a firing incident in Malir City area while in Yusuf Goth, a criminal named Fahad was killed after a shootout with C.I.D police. Police sources say that Fahad belonged to Lyari gang war and was involved in more than 50 target killings.
