We’ve all heard of Pakistani actors and actresses wanting to venture into India and work for their movies. However, this time around, a stellar Indian actress has given voice to the desire to work with a leading Pakistani director. Bollywood’s most glamorous girl Kareena Kapoor Khan has expressed a desire to work with Pakistani renowned director Shoaib Mansoor someday.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is these days relishing the success of her latest film Bajrangi Bhaijaan which also stars Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The actress reportedly named a few directors she always wanted to work with and the name of Shoaib Mansoor popped out of her mouth at once. According to a local English newspaper, Kareena Kapoor had stated her desire to work with Shoaib due to the fact that she was a fan of some of his films, which were content-driven.

It should be borne in mind that Shoaib Mansoor is one of the most prolific directors in Pakistan, whose films Khuda Kay Liye and Bol have been stellar hits across the country. In Khuda Kay Liye, Naseeruddin Shah played a pivotal role in the end and till today his dialogues from that film are quoted.

It would be quite relishing and pleasing to see Bebo in a Pakistani movie for once. The actress, who is married to Saif Ali Khan, recently starred in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, a movie which depicts peace and friendship with Pakistan. At a time when the Pakistani film industry is in a revival mode and has churned out impressive films such as Na Maloom Afraad and Wrong Number, Kareena Kapoor’s presence in the Pakistani film industry will work wonders for us.

Let’s hope Kareena Kapoor decides to embark on this bold venture and star in a Pakistani movie. A collaboration between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shoaib Mansoor will be off the hook!
