Kareena to support a children’s benefit campaign

Bollywood stars are playing keen role in the child education sector of India. After Anushka Sharma, the ravishing Kareena Kapoor has also joined hands with a campaign called Child-Friendly Schools and Systems (CFSS).

Kareena Kapoor who is also the Unicef India celebrity advocate has been roped in a joint initiative of DTH provider, Tata Sky and Unicef. The actress will support the communication campaign of the initiative including promotional films, mailers and social media.

Kareen also visited few schools with Unicef  to meet the children who are being proliferated from these programmes and the actress was inspired by the child-friendly  spaces there. The 34 years old actress said in a statement, “These are places where children are full of joy when they interact with teachers, where children feel safe and secure and where interactive and creative tools are used to ensure that children are happy and learning,”.

In order to support the Unicef cause, Tata Sky is offering its platform for raising funds from its subscribers for facilitating CFSS and that is a commendable step.
