NEW DELHI: Pakistan’s High Commissioner in India Abdul Basit has said that Pakistan and India can only resolve Kashmir dispute with diplomacy, ARY News reported.
In an interview to an Indian newspaper, Basit said that Kashmir is the core dispute between the two South Asian neighboring countries, which can only be resolved through diplomacy.
He said that India has termed the cross-border firing of its troops as a surgical strike.
Basit said, “India — for the first time — has confessed that it has violated the Line of Control ceasefire agreement.”
The Pakistani envoy in New Delhi said that the country has full capability to respond to any kind of misadventure by India.
