Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are the two most talked-about Indian celebrities of this year. The couple had a bitter start to the year when it was hinted by Katrina that they had broken up and were no longer dating each other. Both Kat and Ranbir also started avoiding each other at social events, until they came face-to-face at Aarti Shetty’s birthday party.
According to a source which was also a guest at the high-profile party, Katrina and Ranbir chatted briefly with each other. Kat went up to her former boyfriend and asked if he wanted to give their relationship a second chance to which Ranbir snubbed her completely, telling her ‘it’s over’.
“Katrina actually went up to Ranbir and asked him if they could give their relationship another try. Ranbir refused to entertain the thought. He firmly told her it’s over,” said the source.
A mutual friend of the couple stated that Katrina was ‘very, very upset’ by Ranbir Kapoor’s attitude. “She gave all of herself into this relationship. He finally let her down very bad,” he said.
Reportedly, the two former lovers broke up due to Katrina Kaif’s overall close association with her ex-boyfriend Salman Khan. Meanwhile, rumours also started doing the rounds that Ranbir was becoming a little too close with his former girlfriend Deepika Padukone, during the shoot of their latest film Tamasha.
Whether or not the rumours are true, lets hope the relationship does not affect the performance of both Bollywood actors who will share the screen in their upcoming movie Jagga Jasoos.
