Kenya cricket team arrives in Pakistan

LAHORE: Punjab’s capital saw tough security arrangements amid hopes of a safe return of international cricket to Pakistan as Kenyan cricket team arrived here on Wednesday, ARY News reported.

The team was escorted to National Cricket Academy (NCA) amidst fool proof security arrangements.

Kenya’s national squad will play five one-day games against Pakistan ‘A’ from Dec 11 to Dec 21. All matches will be staged at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

African Minnow’s visit to Pakistan may work as the first step towards revival of international cricket in a country where international cricket remain suspended since March 2009 when armed terrorists attacked Sri Lankan cricket team.
