According to details, the ATC ordered so after continuous absence of Mir Shakil and others from the hearing of a blasphemy case registered against them.
When the hearing was resumed earlier today, then Mir Shakil and other accused were again absent from the court, at which the court expressed its extreme displeasure.
Police requested the court to grant a month’s time to arrest the accused, ensuring that they will be brought before the court.
At this, the ATC judge Kausar Ali Bukhari gave police a deadline of January 16 to arrest and present all the accused before the court along with complete documentary record.
The other accused with Mir Shakil included Shaista Lodhi, Ansar Abbasi, Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, Veena Malik and Asad Bashir Khattak.
