Khursheed Shah, criticizing the policies of the federal government during a media talk, said that the rulers are giving good news of reducing prices of petroleum whereas they are fooling the nation by hiking power tariffs.
He asked that why the government is privatizing profitable state institutions such as Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL).
The opposition leader condemned the plans of privatization of Pakistan Steel Mill and warned that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will not allow thousands of steel mill employees to be unemployed.
It should be noted that the privatization policies of the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) has been severely criticized by political parties and economists.
