Khursheed criticizes Imran over taking back ‘lockdown’ decision
SUKKUR: Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan kept claiming that he will stage a sit-in only to back his decision later, ARY News reported.
The senior Pakistan People’s Party leader, while speaking to media on Thursday, said that Imran Khan claimed that he will stage a protest against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif but got frustrated and withdrew his decision. “Only he knows why he took such a decision,” Shah said.
He said that he will not respond to Imran Khan’s allegations against him. He went on to say that he has forgiven Khan over the accusations PTI chief leveled against him and his party.
Imran Khan in his speeches repeatedly addressed Khursheed Shah as “Double Shah”. He said that PPP talked about democracy during PTI’s sit-in in 2014 and was still struggling for it.
