As the political and military tensions between India and Pakistan continue to affect sports and entertainment, Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt has offered a ray of hope of peace between the two countries.

Bhatt, who has frequently visited Pakistan, has called on the leaders of both countries not to let the actions of a few violent men affect the future of many people who want peace.

“Kill Terrorists, not Talks.” he hashtagged on Twitter.

He said that society is built on a foundation of conflict, and therefore you will always be in conflict with the society.

“It takes nothing to join the herd. It takes a lot to walk alone ,” he quoted.

It is pertinent to note here that Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) on Thursday passed a resolution to temporarily ban all Pakistani artists in India.

It was reported that IMPPA has passed the resolution to ban Pakistani actors, actresses and technicians in India “till the situation gets normal”.

Salman Khan, Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt are already receiving a lot of criticism for keeping a soft corner for Pakistani artists and technicians.
