KP minister declared ineligible over fake degree

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The election tribunal on Wednesday declared Agriculture Minister Khyber Pakhtonkhwa Sardar Ikramullah Gandapur ineligible for possessing fake academic degree, ARY News reported.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf lawmaker Gandapur was elected from Dera Ismail Khan (constituency PK-67) and took oath in January this year. He was elected after his brother former minister Sardar Israrullah Gandapur was killed in a suicide attack.

Mr Gandapur had bagged 28,073 votes, defeating independent candidate Sardar Fatehullah Khan Miankhel who got 14,986 votes in by-polls on December 16, 2013.
