The provincial budget for fiscal year 2015-16 carrying an approximate Rs142 billion Annual Development Programme, provincial finance ministry sources said.
Provincial Finance Minister Muzafar Saeed has said that the education will be the special focus of the budget.
Chief Minister Pervez Khattak will chair a cabinet meeting to approve the budget proposals today before the assembly session.
According to official sources, the total ADP for the new year would be around 150 billion.
The province will bring cattle markets, fruit markets, cinemas in the tax net, sources said. The new year budget will also likely to enhance property tax on various categories of residential houses.
