Lahore Literary Festival 2016 kicks off amid much fanfare and festivity
The Lahore Literary Festival 2016 has commenced and as expected, generated appreciation and excitement. From what can be seen, enthusiastic attendees are having the time of their lives at the two-day festival, thronging pop-up libraries to relishing scrumptious snacks every now and then. Of course, the cultural exchange between intellectuals, keynote speakers and artists from within Pakistan as well as India, will be the main highlight of the event. And for Bollywood buffs out there-there’s going to be plenty to look forward to since Bollywood actress and mother of actor Saif Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore will also grace the stage for the festival.
