Land grabbing: Rangers raid SBCA office in Karachi

KARACHI: Rangers on Monday raided the office of Sindh Building Control Authority in Karachi’s Civic Centre building and grilled the SBCA’s acting chief, ARY News reported.

The personnel of paramilitary force first besieged the SBCA building and barged into the office.

Sources informed that Rangers launched action against the SBCA for alleged involvement of its officials in land grabbing across the city and massive corruption within the organization.

The Rangers also grilled SBCA acting Director General Mumtaz Hiader Magsi for couple of hours.

The personnel also took away important files containing land records to investigate charges of land encroachment.
