KARACHI: Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani and Syeda Shehla Raza have said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is allowed and can stage his rally in Larkana on November 21 (Friday), ARY News reports on Wednesday.

Agha Siraj Durrani said that Sindh Government will allow Imran Khan to hold its public gathering in Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) stronghold city of Larkana so that he knows his status in Sindh.

Durrani further said that the mindset of Sindhis is different. He asked that what Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman can do for the province.

“Imran Khan can never do what the PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto did for the people of Sindh”, he added.

Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker of the house Syeda Shehla Raza has questioned the PTI Chairman about his stance regarding the Kalabagh Dam. She has asked Khan to clarify about the statement “Constructing the dam is important for Pakistan’s integrity” mentioned in his manifesto.

Kalabagh Dam is one of the most controversial development projects in the history of Pakistan and provincial assemblies of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan had passed resolutions against the dam while Punjab is the only federating unit of Pakistan supporting the controversial scheme.
