According to Sindh Assembly sources, the bill will be tabled for debate in the house on October 20th whereas no opposition party was consulted over it.
Khwaja Izhar-ul-Hassan, Deputy Parliamentary leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), has said that the party was not taken into confidence over the amendment draft. He added that MQM has the right to stage protest if the bill is accepted by force.
MQM’s Syed Sardar Ahmad contacted Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and asked for the copy of the bill. He inquired that how can the amendments be made in the bill if the lawmakers don’t have the copy of it.
