LB polls: Sattar sees MQM bagging votes more than ever

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) lawmaker Farooq Sattar on Friday claimed that his party will succeed in tomorrow’s local body (LB) polls grabbing more votes than ever, ARY News reported.

Speaking at a press conference, he said that MQM is the only party which presented its manifesto for local bodies that, according to him, offers solution to basic issues like water supply, transport, circular railway, cleanliness and employment.

Hinting at opponents’ possible boycott of polls by midday Saturday, Sattar claimed that his party will secure a number of votes higher than ever in tomorrow’s LB polls.

The MQM lawmaker categorically stated that his party offers zero tolerance to all kinds of terrorism and crime.
