The law enforcement agencies arrested KDA’s Assistant Director Land Atif Ahmed near Liaquat Market of Malir.
According to sources, the arrested official has been transferred to undisclosed place for interrogation.
Four KDA officials including their director land Najamuz Zaman were arrested by the Rangers in April this year for their alleged involvement in land grabbing,‘china cutting’ and dealing in illegal sale of government plots.
Moreover, police produced the alleged killer of MQM activist Waqas Shah before a court in Karachi today.
Paramilitary Rangers had arrested the accused from interior Sindh, who escaped from Karachi after the killing incident.
Waqas Shah was killed during the Rangers raid at MQM headquarters nine-zero in Marach this year.
