LEAs arrest six terrorists, including two commanders from Rawalpindi

Combing operations throughout the country have been expedited in the wake of Quetta hospital blast that has claimed more than 70 lives recently.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), combing operation was carried out last night to nab terrorists in Kallar Sayedan and Gujar Khan areas of district Rawalpindi. Six terrorists including two key terrorists commanders and cache of arms and ammunition including prepared IEDs were recovered.

“Combing operations are underway across the country to bust terrorist sleeper cells and eliminate hiding terrorists,” the ISPR statement said.

While, during combing operation in Khyber Agency four suicide bombers were arrested who were preparing to carry out attacks on August 14.

Five suicide jackets, one LMG and its 600 rounds, one RPG-7 and its four fuses, two rockets, one SMG and its 400 rounds, 200 rounds of 222 gun and three short-guns were recovered from their possession.
