LEAs nab four extortionists in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD: Law enforcement entities on Saturday arrested four extortionists in Abbottabad, ARY News reports.

According to DSP Mirpur Khursheed, the extortionists were demanding money from a trader named Suleman over the telephone. The police arrested the four persons in a raid at a local hotel.

Khursheed also said that three pistols and Rs. 0.3 million cash were seized from the extortionists. He added that the suspects were wanted to Karachi Police for different offences.

A case was filed against the four persons. An Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) sent them to five day physical remand under anti terrorism acts No. 324 and 358.
