Convicts Yaqoob and Abrar were handed death sentence for murdering five people in Faisalabad and Mianwali in 2013.
A divisional bench of LHC heard the case today. Yaqoob and Abrar’s lawyer told the court that his clients were innocent and pleaded for their acquittal.
The bench however changed their death sentences to life term.
The defence lawyer said that his clients have already served their life terms and will file a petition for their release.
