The larger bench formed to probe assets case against PM Nawaz is comprised of five members. It will be headed by Justice Farrukh Irfan Khan and will include Justice Faisal Zaman, Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf, Justice Muhammad Qasim and Justice Ayesha A Malik.
The larger bench will initiate case proceedings from May 8.
The case against PM Nawaz was filed by Barrister Javed Iqbal Jafri in the year 1991.
In his petition, Barrister Javed had stated that illegal assets of Nawaz Sharif in abroad have badly harmed the national treasury. He has demanded to confiscate assets of PM Nawaz and declared him disqualified for the post of Prime Minister.
