LHC seeks federal govt reply in petitions against PM

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has sought reply from the federal government in the face of allegations against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in petitions regarding ‘Panama leaks’.

The petitioner claimed that prime minister and his family were involved in money laundering.

The plea requested the court to disqualify the prime minister and others involved in stashing wealth abroad including former interior minister Rehman Malik.

The petitioner also requested the court to order investigation into Panama Papers through National Accountability Bureau.
