The LHC was hearing a petition against TV channels reporting activities and name of MQM head Altaf Hussain despite ban on his media coverage.
The petitioner, in his plea, contended that it was a contempt of court that LHC orders were not being adhered to, in connection to media blackout ordered by the court.
He said channels were still airing news of Altaf Hussain.
In its order, the court summoned Pemra chairman on October 16 to furnish his reply in the case.
