Quetta Gladiators beat Karachi Kings by five wickets

Karachi Kings won the toss and opted to bat first. They scored 126/9 in their 20 overs.

Skipper Shoaib Malik missed out on his half century as he was dismissed on 45 runs from 38 balls which included three fours and two sixes. James Vince contributed 23 runs from 17 balls with the help of a boundary and a six.

Ravi Bopara, the star of the Kings’ previous match, managed to score 14 runs for the team while Shakib Al-Hasan made 10 runs from 19 balls.

Grant Elliott took four wickets for Quetta Gladiators.

The Gladiators, chasing 127 runs to win the match, reached the target in 18.5 overs with five wickets in hand.

Openers Ahmed Shehzad was the stand out batsman for the Quetta side as he made 41 runs of 27 balls while hitting seven boundaries. Captain Sarfraz Ahmed was not out at 29 runs while Kevin Pietersen contributed 26 runs with the bat.

Usama Mir took two wickets for Karachi Kings while Shakib Al-Hasan and Imad Wasim grabbed a wicket each as well.
