New Zealand thrash Pakistan by 95 runs to clinch T20 series

Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first.

Batting first, New Zealand scored 196/5 in their allotted 20 overs,  Corey Anderson was the star performer for New Zealand as he scored knock of 82 runs from 42 balls with the help of six boundaries and four sixes.

Martin Guptill scored 42 runs from 19 balls which included six fours and two sixes whereas Kane Williamson contributed 33 runs from 33 balls with the help of three fours and a six.

Guptill and Williamson also put up an opening stand of 57 runs.

Wahab Riaz took two wickets while Shahid Afridi dismissed one batsman.

In reply, no Pakistani batsman, except for Sarfraz Ahmed could provide any resistance to the Kiwi bowlers as they were all out after scoring 101 runs in 16.1 overs. Only two green shirts batsmen could manage to score in double figures.

Sarfraz Ahmed was the top scorer for the green shirts with 41 runs while Shoaib Malik made 14 runs.

Graham Elliott and Adam Milne took three wickets each for the side.
