LoC tension: Pakistan Rangers retaliates with killing of five Indian soldiers

SIALKOT: In retaliation against unprovoked Indian firing and shelling along Working Boundary in Sialkot, Pakistani soldiers killed five Indian security forces personnel, ARY News reported.

The Indian Border Security Forces had been resorting to intermittently and indiscriminate firing on Pakistan side for last six days, thus inflicting casualties of civilians while a Pakistani soldier had also embraced martyrdom.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), military’s public affairs wing, Indian forces continued targeting civilians’ localities in Zafarwal and Shakargarh sectors with mortar shells and unprovoked firing. Punjab Rangers effectively responded to the Indian aggression and silenced their guns, the statement added.
