Long partnership more important than sixes, says Reham Khan

Reham Khan was speaking at International Media Conference Manchester, in her first public appearance after her recent split with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.

The TV journalist told the conference on Tuesday that anyone could hit a six, but the real challenge lay in sustaining a long partnership spanning a century.

“Those who want change and justice should have to learn respect of the women,” she said.

Reham Khan speaking on the state of media in Pakistan, said that Pakistanis needed to grapple with lethargic behavior, particularly in the fields of media and journalism.

She said the media in Pakistan did not follow important issues as big news barely survived a day before being swept aside adding that the media also focusing on negativity, sidelining positive news.

She discussed the challenges and problems faced by the media industry in Pakistan.
