LPG price goes up by Rs.25/kg

KARACHI: The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has been increased more by Rs.5 per kilogram on Monday, ARY News reported.

The LPG marketing companies have raised LPG price by Rs. 25 Kg in two days.

Following the recent hike new price of LPG in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujraat, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Hyderabad and Sheikhopura is stand at Rs 145 per Kg while in Karachi, LPG will be sold at Rs. 125 per Kg.

Earlie, Chairman All Pakistan LPG Distributors Association, Mohammad Irfan Khokar said that LPG producers had set price at Rs 60,000 per ton, while Saudi Aramco Contract Price (CP) of the commodity was $563 per ton.

According to the Ogra rules and LGP policy, gas should be kept available in the market at Rs 95 per kg, he added.

He alleged marketing companies for creating artificial shortage that had significantly increased the prices.
