LPG price goes up by Rs.15 in two days

KARACHI: Following yesterday’s hike of Rs.10, producers of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) have made another increase of Rs 5 per kg in the price of LPG today, ARY News reported.

The is the second time within 24-hours that LPG producers have challenged the writ of government increasing Rs.15 in two consecutive days.

Following the recent hike new price of LPG in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujraat, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Hyderabad and Sheikhopura is stand at Rs 130 while in Karachi, LPG will be sold at Rs. 120 per kg.

Ealier, chairman of All Pakistan LPG Distributors Association Irfan Khokar declared the price hike unfair.

He said the rise in price have been made by LPG producers without any notification of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

“Keeping in view the reduction of $25 per ton in international market LPG price in local market should be reduced by Rs.3 per kg in the local market”, he added.
