LPG price increases by Rs.10/kg

KARACHI: Keeping government’s writ aside, producers of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) have announced the increase of Rs 10 per kg in the price of LPG, ARY News reported.

Chairman of All Pakistan LPG Distributors Association Irfan Khokar declared the price hike unfair. He said the rise in price have been made by LPG producers without any notification of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

“Keeping in view the reduction of $25 per ton in international market LPG price in local market should be reduced by Rs.3 per kg in the local market”, he added.

After the increase the new price of LPG in Karachi is Rs 115 while in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujraat, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Hyderabad and Sheikhopura, LPG will be sold at Rs. 125 per kg.
