“After the major general was done with the official work, he allegedly molested the officer,” Mail Today reported, quoting from a document that’s part of the proceedings.

The paper reported that an Indian Army officer had confirmed that the incident occurred and the guilty officer was facing investigation.

The report also says that the major general and his wife approached the complainant apologising and asking that she withdraw the complaint as “it would spoil his career of over 30 years in the army”. The woman officer has refused and wants the probe to reach its end.
