According to details, Rehman Malik made a telephonic contact with the Afghan Interior Minister and discussed affairs pertaining to the release of the recently convicted reporter associated with ARY News.
During his conversation, Malik told that he personally knows Faizullah Khan, who is a committed journalist and he is ready to give any guarantee required pertaining to this matter.
The former Pakistani Interior Minister told that the Afghan Interior Minister ensured him of the release of Faizullah Khan.
Analysts have questioned as to what sort of important affairs the current Interior Minister of Pakistan, is busy with that he did not even take notice of the conviction of a Pakistani journalist in Afghanistan and the former Interior Minister had to do this job.
