Maqbool terms Musharraf meeting ‘routine affair’

KARACHI: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said their meeting with former president Pervez Musharraf on Thursday was a ‘routine affair’, ARY News reported.

He said ‘storm of corruption’ in Sindh governance needs to be stopped immediately.

Talking to media after meeting PML-F chief Pir Pagara at his residence, he said MQM wants solution to problems facing people of Sindh.

We have come to Mr. Pir Pagara to play our effective role as opposition party in Sindh.

To a question regarding the ex-military ruler, he said MQM had good relations with Musharraf. We discussed the current political scenario with the former president.
