Marriage hall owned by MQM’s Babar Ghori razed

KARACHI: A marriage hall, owned by a influential leader of MQM, was razed in Karachi under the ongoing anti-encroachment drive, ARY News reported.

Florence lawn was owned by MQM leader Babar Ghouri. The marriage lawn was located in Hyderi area, where several such halls are housed.

The anti-encroachment officials demolished the lawn.

Sources told that Babar Ghouri had acquired the land for welfare purposes, however it was turned into commercial land and a marriage hall was built on it.

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has ordered all administrators of all the districts to not to succumb to any pressure and continue the anti-encroachment drive in full swing.

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation teams, under the directives of Memon, are continuing with its anti-encroachment drive and have razed several illegal parks, buildings, houses, marriage halls and other structures in the ongoing campaign.
