Petitioner Zubair Niazi in his plea before the court of Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah of LHC argued that the formal terms and conditions   have been ignored in appointment of Prime Minster Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz as chairperson of the Youth Loan Scheme.

The petitioner argued that the appointment has been made on political grounds and pleaded to the court to declare the appointment as void.

The court summoned reply of the government and the representative of the loan scheme by November 11 after the state counsel sought time for submission of the reply.
