“May Allah protect Reham Khan from Shahbaz Sharif”, prays Shah

SUKKUR: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA) Syed Khursheed Shah on Monday prayed for the ‘safety’ of Reham Khan after a journalist questioned him pertaining to Shahbaz-Reham meeting in London, ARY News reported.

He was talking to media at his residence when a journo asked for his comment on Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif’s meeting with Reham Khan in London, to which the opposition leader responded: “May Allah protect Reham Khan – former wife of Imran Khan – from Shahbaz Sharif.”

Speaking about Dr. Asim Hussain’s case, he said the courts are independent and hoped for justice to be done in the case.

Shah said that the institutions understand that it won’t be easy to push Peoples Party to the wall.

He said, “I am trying to unify all political parties sitting in the Parliament and for this I have also talked to Shah Mehmood Qureshi, but his party chief is used to of solo-flight”.

The PPP leader said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be visiting Punjab by the end of next month, where his first rally will be held in Rahim Yar Khan.

In response to Imran Khan’s criticism of the parliamentarians, Khursheed Shah said, “If the PTI chief considers everyone there in the Parliament a robber, then who are he and his party fellows?”

Earlier to this he also addressed a ceremony with respect to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) foundation day.

Yesterday, some media reports suggested that a meeting between Shahbaz Sharif and Reham Khan took place in London, at which the Punjab CM invited Khan to join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) folds.
