Qadri while addressing a press conference on Friday evening had alleged that there are 300 Indian nationals inside the Ramzan Sugar Mills owned by the family of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who were possibly agents of the Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).

Qadri, while releasing the list of fifty Indian nationals said that were employed on the pretext of skills development and enhancement and worked in technical positions, while being exempt from all legal procedures and were issued visas without the immigration process.

Yusuf Sharif, addressing the serious allegation, while speaking to state television, denied the allegations and said there was not a single Indian national in the sugar mills of the Sharif family. He said that he would sue Qadri for defamation over the allegations.

He said that Ramzan Sugar Mill was founded in 1992 and has 1100 employees. There was no Indian citizen or any other foreign national working in any position in the mill. ‘”All our employees are Pakistani citizens,” he said.

It is pertinent to mention that a fire had mysteriously erupted in the Ramazan Sugar Mill in Chiniot during the press conference of Qadri. He had raised fears that the records might be burned to sabotage his claims and deny his allegations.

No casualty was reported in the third-degree fire which had spread to a large part of the building before being put off by rescue workers. “The fire has proven what I earlier said during the press conference,” said Qadri while speaking to the media. He termed the Sharif brothers as a threat to the sanctity and security of Pakistan.

The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) released a statement that the Managing Director was not speaking the truth, and vowed to give a befitting reply if any legal notice was sent to them. The statement said that the record of multiple-entry visas issued to Indian nationals has been issued on the letterhead of Ramazan Sugar Mills.

It stated that there was frequent visits to the mills of the Sharif family without any scrutiny. PAT has  vowed to continue to expose the corruption of the Sharif brothers and their actions which are a threat to the country.
