Medialogic serves defamation notice to a private media house

LAHORE: Salman Danish, CEO of Medialogic Pakistan, on Monday reiterated that the Express media group illegally benefitted by manipulating Television Audience Measurement (TAM), ARY News reported.

Speaking at a press conference here, Danish said the report of international auditor confirmed Medialogic’s petition filed with the Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA).

He said the report clearly states that after analyzing TV rating data of all channels it was confirmed that Express group channels usurped profit of other channels for ten months.

The CEO Medialogic said the media house is wrongly targeting the media monitor over the issue of Shaista Mushtaq.

He said that Express News and Express Entertainment earned profit by fraudulently enhancing its TV ratings.

Salman Danish told journalists that Medialogic Pakistan has served a defamatory notice to the media house and the outlet is bound to file its reply in 14 days.
