KARACHI: Actress Meera has advised her fans to watch her movie instead of attending PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s public meetings, ARY News reported.

Speaking to media, Meera requested the nation to watch her upcoming flick Hotal instead of attending the rallies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The actress was talking to media persons at Karachi airport.

The actress announced her retirement from the film industry adding that she will act in dramas only.

During her media talk Meera mistakenly said that Hotal will be releasing next week. Director Khalid Hasan Khan corrected her by announcing that the movie will be released on 13th May.

Hotal is said to be the first psycho-thriller feature film of Pakistan. It will also star Tariq Jamal, Baila Naz, Anees Raja, Nasreen Jaan, and Wiam Dahmani.

The film is written and directed by Khalid Hasan Khan.

The movie had won the Best Film award at 3rd Delhi International Film Festival 2014 and Meera won the award for Best Actress.
