Memon vows to make Sindh a model province

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for information and local bodies Sharjeel Inam Memon on Tuesday vowed to make Sindh a model province, ARY News reported.

The Minister who launched the ‘Clean, green and peaceful Sindh’ campaign claimed that people of Sindh will soon witness improvement in health, education and other facilities.

Talking to media after participating in the plantation drive at Frere Hall Park, Memon said that the campaign to make Karachi a ‘Green City’ and Sindh a ‘Green Province’ will continue for a year adding that Sindh government will work for the betterment of medical and educational institutions under Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) in the second phase.

The Minister told media that bank accounts of 75000 employees of municipal corporation are being opened in Sindh Bank adding that from 1st April, employees with physical and biometric attendance will get salary.

Yesterday, Memon said that it is either him or ghost employees who shall remain in office while surprising everyone by sweeping a road at Pakistan Chowk.
