The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Pakistan Army conducted airstrikes in Dattakhel area of the restive North Waziristan agency in wee hours of Wednesday.
As a consequence, at least twelve terrorists were killed.
During the strikes, Pak Army’s gunship helicopters pounded four sanctuaries and destroyed seven vehicles used by the militants.
The airstrikes came as part of the Operation Zarb-e-Azb, which is continued since June last year with the sole purpose of wiping out all the terrorist elements from the region.
