Military continues to supply food, basic health facilities in Thar

According to details, Pakistan Army’s relief activities in the famine-hit areas of Tharparker are continued in full swing, while numerous medical camps have also been established to help people suffering from different diseases.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that 1443 patients visited the medical camps on Friday, where the military officials and paramedics provided medical aid to them.

It was further told that 12 tons of rations were also distributed among the hunger-stricken masses today, whereas the supply of food to far-flung areas of the calamity-hit district is also underway by means of two helicopters of the Pakistan Army.

Relief goods provided to the affected people included dry food items, drinking water and other basic necessities.
