Minister claims 'loadshedding to end by 2018'

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Water and Power Khwaja Asif has said it will take another three years to purge country of load-shedding menace, ARY News reported Monday.

Talking to media outside Parliament House here, the minister, who also holds the portfolio of Defence Ministry, said government was trying its best to end power crisis. The problem will take another three years to resolve, he told.

Flanked alongside Information Minister Pervez Rasheed, Asif also hit out at PTI chief Imran Khan.

He alleged that Khan was using funds of Shaukat Khanum Hospital for investment in foreign countries. He targeted the PTI chief, saying Khan’s press conference against the PML-N government on election rigging was baseless and unfounded.
