Actress Mishi Khan was embroiled in a controversy, when a case of fraud was filed against her. The complainant alleged that Mishi Khan had agreed to appear in an advertisement but had later failed to do so.
The court granted Mishi Khan interim bail in the fraud case and rejected the petition against her bail, on Tuesday.
The plaintiff has alleged that Mishi Khan pocketed Rs 200,000 for an advertisement but then did not appear in it and took the money anyway.
Mishi had denied all the allegations categorically and stated that neither had she taken any money nor committed any fraud against anyone. She also requested the court to extend her bail.
The court agreed to her bail request and ordered her to deposit Rs 50,000 surety bonds.
