LAHORE: Recording her statement before the Judicial Commission, an eyewitness of Model Town incident on Tuesday said that police shot a woman on her head before her eyes, ARY News reported.
Farkhunda Yasmeen, an eye witness of the horrific incident told the commission that police shot a woman on her head before her eyes while another witness Arshad said that he is a resident of the area and had no problem with the barriers outside Tahir-ul-Qadri’s residence.
Arshad further told the commission that Police and district government started the operation with heavy machinery in the night, shelled and killed people.
The judicial commission after recording these statements postponed the hearing till tomorrow (Wednesday).
An aide to the commission demanded that they should also call chief minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif and record his statement while a petition has been filed to register a case against former provincial law minister Rana Sanaullah but the case has still not been registered.
